The World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth. It is a day that reminds everyone on the planet to get involved in environment friendly activities.
Our school had celebrated world environment day on 5th June 2023. The chief guest for the program was Smt. Anupama Shetty Ma’am Joint managing trustee of Bandya Educational Trust and Mr. Mohan K. Principal of Gurukula Public School.
The master of ceremony and welcome speech was done by Kum. Nehal R Hegde. Our Principal welcomed our chief guest on behalf of our Gurukula family by giving the saplings as a token of our love and respect.
To share the importance of the World Environment Day, Shreyas of grade 10 motivated everyone with his motivational speech.
The informative talk about The World Environment Day was given by our chief guest Smt. Anupama Shetty Ma’am joint managing trustee and enlightened us with her words.
The World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm.
Finally the program was concluded by vote of thanks.
At last, our joint managing trustee Smt. Anupama Shetty Ma’am along with Principal and with few students went to plant the saplings in our school premises , to raise the awareness of world environment day.
