Kundapra Kannada language has its own beauty and culture. Every year Kundapra Kannada day is celebrated on 'Aashada Amavasya' throughout Kundapura. The internationally recognized Kundapura Kannada Day was meaningfully celebrated by the members of Gurukula Family.
The chief guest of the program was Dr. Kishore Kumar Shetty, Kannada teacher, Govt. High School, Haklady. The guest emphasized the importance of celebrating this day by recalling traditional songs narrated by our ancestors.
On this occasion students performed many cultural programs such as dance, song and also they have got many traditional dishes. A very informative talk was given by the Chief Guest. The program was presided over by the Joint Managing Trustee Smt. Anupama S Shetty, who wished the students and told that Kundapra Kannada is our pride and we will save and develop it together.
On this occasion, Principal Mr. Mohan.K, Student Welfare Officer, Coordinators, teachers and all the students were present. The program was narrated by Kum. Survi and Kum. Sanvi S Billava, Guest introduction was done by Kum. Sahana, welcomed by Kum. Shirin Hegde and vote of thanks was proposed by Kum. Sannidhi.
