On the auspicious morning of 26th January 2024 , we celebrated 75th Republic Day in the school premises. It was the matter of great Pride for all of us. Needless to say, the whole School had worn the appearance of a beautiful bride.
Mrs. Nagarathna PRT, welcomed everyone to the programme. Mrs. Vishala Shetty, the Student welfare officer escorted the dignitaries to the dias. Master Skanda Milan Naik of grade IXÂ made a special speech on the importance of the day. The Joint Managing Trustee Mrs. Anupama S Shetty hoisted the flag. Mr. Mohan K, the Principal of Gurukul Public School, Mr. Avinash the Principal of Gurukula PU College, Miss. Deepthi PET, Mr. Shashikant PET accompanied her. It was followed by a beautiful patriotic song by the students choir.
Mr. Mohan K, the Principal of Gurukul Public School and Mr. Avinash the Principal of Gurukula PU College wished everyone on the special day. Mrs. Anupama Shetty, the Joint Managing Trustee made the presidential speech and wished the students. Mrs. Nagarathna PRT was the master of the ceremony. She thanked everyone for their support and participation. The event was concluded with the distribution of sweets.
Later we celebrated one of the most anticipated days of the year- The Traditional day/ Reward ceremony. It was an event full day. It is a day designated for students and the staff to come in traditional attire. Everyone came fully clad in their traditional dress. Their attire looked simply amazing as they collectively displayed an array of colour. It created a festive mode in the campus.
It was a moment of great joy and Pride as we all united to celebrate the spirit of Indian tradition. In order to enhance the joy among the students, along with the traditional day we have also arranged the award ceremony. This event celebrated the achievements of our students in various Cultural Competitions held in the year 2023 -24.
The joint managing Trustees Mr. Subhash Chandra Shetty and Mrs. Anupama S Shetty, the school Principal Mr. Mohan K graced the occasion. Mrs. Aishwarya J welcomed everyone to the Special event. Mrs. Vishala Shetty, the Student welfare officer made a floral welcome to the dignitaries. The teachers announced the names of winners and the dignitaries awarded the winners with the trophy and certificates.
The Joint Managing Trustee, Mrs. Anupama S Shetty congratulated all the winners and advised the students to celebrate the traditions of our country throughout their life and feel proud to be Indians. Mrs. Aishwarya J thanked everyone for their active participation.
It was indeed a proud moment for all the recipients of prizes and day of joy for all the students who came in traditional attire.
