School is a miniature of society, and it is the center for learning to prepare children for tomorrow. Our school gives countless opportunity for children to build their personality as an all-rounder. One of the best examples is school’s Parliament. Our school has students' council entitled with “GURUKULA SAMSAD”. Gurukula School Election was conducted on 11-06-2018. Children from class IV to X Standard casted their vote to select best candidate as the SPL of the school. Gurukula Samsad was formed with 25 members.
To activate the parliament, Investiture Ceremony was organized on 28-06-2018. Dr. N P Narayana Shetty, the principal of Bhandarkar’s College Kundapura was the chief guest of the ceremony. Joint Managing Trustees of Bhandya Education Trust, Shri Subhashchandra Shetty and Smt. Anupama S Shetty, School Principal, Mr. Aravind Marali were attended the ceremony. All the leaders solemnly and sincerely swore to fulfill the duties given to them. The batches were pinned, and slashes were given by the chief guest. Master Chandan Nayak (SPL) and Master Suhas Shetty (ASPL) spoke about the value of parliament and shared experiences.
Dr. N P Narayana Shetty, the chief guest of the ceremony inspired our children while highlighting the importance of leadership for the future India. Joint managing Trustee of Bhandya Educational Trust, Shri. Subhashchandra Shetty congratulated all the leaders and told them to do their best.
