Guru Purnima the festival dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers, was celebrated in our school on Monday, 3rd July 2023. This day is also marked to pay our tribute to the great sage Vedavyasa who compiled the Vedas, 18 Puranas, Mahabharata and the Suthras.
The program was inaugurated by prayer followed by the lightening of the lamp by Dr Vadiraj Bhat, Lecturer in Mathematics and got his PhD from NITK Surathkal.
The welcome address was delivered by Mr Mohan K, Principal of Gurukula Public School, Vakwady, Koteshwara. The chief guest Dr.Vadiraj Bhat explained vividly the meaning of "Guru" and their role in bringing up the progress in the society.
The teachers and students offered their salutation to their spiritual Guru by offering the flowers. Program was ended by vote of thanks and MC was done by Mrs Sujata Kiran Shetty.
