Raksha Bhandhan Celebration

Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. To strengthen this bond, Gurukula Public school celebrated this occassion. The event was celebrated with full of enthusiasm and zeal. We believe that such celebration of festivals with true spirit teach students about our Indian culture. We conducted Rakhi making competition. Students from all the classes participated in the event and made colorful rakhi.

On this beautiful occasion Avani of Grade IX gave a speech on significance of Rakshabandhan. Through her speech she explained the meaning of the tradition of tying a holy thread - 'Rakhi' around the wrist of brothers by their sisters. Kids performed dance on the stage and added dazzle to the celebration.

Montessori and Pre-Primary students tied rakhi to each others as a bond of love and care. Everyone enjoyed the festival .Master of ceremony was done by Shrestha of Grade IX.
